Even the best products and processes are worthless without good people.  Most business leaders and entrepreneurs are aware of this at some level.  However, they try to address the issue by finding good people.

 

I assert this approach is flawed because it operates from the premise that good people are rare.  In truth, good people are everywhere!  It is really just a matter of knowing how to look for them and making yourself easy for them to find.

You can’t get more fundamental than “people.”  Given a choice, I will always take good people over good products or processes.  Good people, naturally find a way to overcome weak products or bad processes.
